Weekly facilitated spaces for people who are curious about themselves, want to self-author their practice, and are ready to engage with their creative surplus. These groups offer developmental containers where you can belong without fitting in - exploring ideas and ways of being while forming the language to articulate them.

Thirdness

A meta-community for creative surplus. A place to belong without fitting in.

Creative surplus is the creativity no one is asking for - yet. Without care and attention, it dissipates as background energy or professional resentment. Thirdness is a rehearsal room for thinking - a space where you can show up with the particular complexity of the moment, practice articulating ideas that don't yet have language, and develop new ways of seeing your work.

This is a place for intellectual discourse, emotional space, and new perspectives. We engage with ambiguity, look at everything sideways, and actively avoid our commonly used scripts and roles. Members include writers, consultants, educators, community leaders, and anyone with creative surplus.

What We Do:
  • Weekly standing call with prompts, check-ins, and discussion
  • Share-outs with external or internal guests
  • Weekly 1:1 coffee pairings
  • Ad hoc activities: art hour, philosophy roundtable, writing sessions

The goal is to write and rewrite, to practice and rehearse, to move from knowledge to wisdom, to get to know your context. This should feel like a rehearsal room for people who speak publicly about their opinions and interests.

Tuesdays, 1-2 pm ET / $100 monthly / Limited to 10 members

AI Literacy

“We don’t know who discovered water, but we know it wasn’t a fish.”

Weekly space for sorting out your relationship to AI as a creative tool.

The machines can produce endless language, but meaning and value still require you. As AI becomes more accessible, the questions get more interesting: What does it change in how you work? What creative capacity are you gaining or losing? How do you maintain what makes your work yours when language becomes abundant and cheap?

Each week we explore these questions together through shared inquiry and discussion. You'll develop your own perspective rather than adopt someone else's framework.

The goal is building discernment - knowing what to use AI for, what to keep human, and how to maintain the generative work that makes your practice valuable.

Wednesdays, 12-1 pm ET / $200 monthly

Men in Progress

Weekly space for men to articulate what masculinity means now - not through internet posturing, alpha-beta myths, or inherited scripts, but through attention to lived experience.

This is a place to feel and embody masculinity without rushing to define or defend it. To self-author the man you're becoming and let that form take shape in your life, your work, and in community with others doing the same.

We start with sensing before sense-making. With intuition before ideology. With what's actually happening in your life before fitting it into categories or frameworks.

What We Do:

Weekly facilitated space for reflection, conversation, and shared inquiry.

The Sopranos as shared text - watching and discussing episodes together to examine masculinity, power, loyalty, failure, and contradiction through culture rather than abstraction.

Reading bell hooks - working through the will to change and all about love to develop language for emotional life and relationships.

The goal is developing language for what you already feel - building capacity to articulate and integrate your experience of being a man without resorting to tired scripts or defensive postures.

Wednesdays, 1-2 pm ET / $150 monthly
